Variegated Liriope is a grass-like perennial that features arching green leaves which are variegated with creamy yellow margins. It produces lilac flower spikes which rise above the foliage in late summer. Its blackish berries add winter interest. This plant does an excellent job lining walkways, bordering beds, circling tree trunks, or massing together to fill in bare spaces in the landscape. Prefers average, well-drained soil in sun or shade.
