Color Guard is one of the most beautiful of the variegated yuccas. It has sword-shaped leaves with bold central stripes of bright yellow against a green edge which turn pink and coral in the winter. Masses of creamy white flowers emerge on stout stems that can reach up to 6' tall in the summer. Yucca is a native plant that is drought-tolerant and slow-growing. Use in rock gardens or as an accent plant. It has year-round season of interest. Thrives in dry/medium moisture, well-drained soil.
