Black Mondo Grass is a clumping plant with black leaves. The leaves are appx. 12" when mature. In late spring to early summer, racemes of pink flowers appear.

Dwarf mondo grass is a low-growing ground cover. It is smaller and more compact than Ophiopogon japonicas but has the same beautiful green foliage, metallic blue fruit, and light lilac flower. This plant is an excellent ground cover. Thrives in average moisture, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade.
